What to Expect
Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga
12 Days FEZ to FEZ desert tour will start with a pick up from your accommodation (FEZ Airport/ Or Riad). The road to Merzouga bombarded by several towns located in the High Atlas Mountains. We will discover three of them. Ifran (Switzerland of Morocco with Alpine Climate), Azrou (Forests with Macaque Apes), and Midelt (The APPLE city). Via the Ziz Valley, we will arrive to Merzouga to spend the night.
Day2: Experience in Desert Night in Bivouc
This day will introduce you to explore the Bivouac Camp at the high Sahara Desert. An experience where you will visit “Khamlia” village camel trek in the sand dunes, as well as meet native Berbers. You will spend your night in the camp while listening to Gnaoua music and taste traditional meal under the clear sky.
Day3: Merzouga- Dades
After taking breakfast, come the time to commence the road to Gorges of Dades for an overnight. During the road, enjoy the views and discover the towns of Erfoud & Rissani in the road of thousand Kasbahs.
Day4: Dades – Ouarzazate
Dades Valley has incredible rock formation worth to see. After a short morning tour, we will continue via Draa Valley (known by palm trees & Ksous), and Roses Valley (cosmetic rose water produced from extracting roses) to Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – zagora
Today, you will explore another side of the Sahara Desert. Zagora, the heartbeat of the Moroccan Sahara desert has its own charm. After visiting Ouarzazate monumental sites (the film studios plus Taourirt Kasbah), we will proceed to spend the night at Zagora. Experience the life of the Berbers in a friendly meeting in our camp while listening to the music and eat delicious meal.
Day6: Zagora – Marrakech
In the morning, we will leave Zagora to the red city passing via Tizi N Tichka pass. Marrakech has multiple places to discover. Jemaa El Fna is the most famous, plus Bahia Palace, Kutubia Mosque, and more.
Day7: Marrakech – essaouira
This day is a chance to explore the coastal side visiting “Essaouira” city. You will take a ride on the seaside while seeing the blue boats and fish sealers. At Essaouira, you will also taste fresh fish and you may want to practice Surfing which is one of the main spots known in the city.
Day8 : Essaouira –Eljadida
Located in the Atlantic coast, Eljadida city is the city that we will explore today. Along the day, we will fully explore the city most important landmarks such as the city beach and the Municipal Theatre.
Day9 : Eljadida – Casablanca
We’ll leave ElJadida so as to reach the Grand Casablanca city. Represent the centre of Moroccan economy and has good weather all over the year. Casablanca very known by the Grand Mosque of Hassan II, Mohammed V Square, Casablanca Cathedral, and more.
Day 10: Casablanca- Rabat
Rabat capital city is where we will spend the day after leaving Casablanca. In Rabat, you will explore several historical sites such as Hassan II tower, Oudayas Kasbah, and more other.
Day11: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
We will spend the night at our arrival to Chefchaouen city. During the road today, we will stop to discover Meknes gates (Bab El Mansour & Bab Khmiss), along with the ruins of Volubilis (historical site listed in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site).
Day12: Chefchaouen – Fes
After taking a day trip in the blue Pearl City, we will continue to FES to end the tour. At Chefchaouen, get ready to appreciate the rif mountain climate and the great view. Furthermore, a stop at Utta El Hamam Plaza and Ras EL MA River.
