As we drive further into the Middle Atlas we pass some Berber villages like Immouzar.

We are going to pursue driving via Midelt , the capital of apples to Vallee Ziz, the valley of the dades. We will stop at some panoramic views for making the most incredible photographs.

After passing Erfoud (and Rissani ) the most unbelievable red dunes arise at the horizon. Erg Chebbi dunes look mysterious and majestic. Some of the dunes reach the highth of 150 metres.

After a long da,y you will enjoy the hospitality of the Kasbah in Merzouga. Take a nice hot shower and enjoy a good meal. There also will be Nomad musiciens to complete the day.

The second day will be an amazing experience in The Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi. We will start early in the morning after breakfast and drive through the most breathtaking golden sand dunes. We will visit the old Merzouga centre in the middle of the desert, now occupied by the millitary. We also visit a Nomad family to have tea and share some of the fascinating native daily life. We enjoy their Knawa music together. We also make a stop for lunch in a small village called Khamliya. This place is known for its special pizzas.

After a refreshing break in the hotel, we go back into the desert by camels to stay overnight in a Nomad camp. There you will experience the most wonderfull sunset and sunrise you have ever seen. Far from the business of every day life in the cities you will experience the silence of The Sahara.

At the third day, we will wake up very early in the morning for enjoying the most incredible sunrise. Every minute the sky changes its colour.

After breakfast, we leave for Erfoud which is known for its fossils. If you like we can stop to buy some trilobites.

We pass Talifalt Oasis to get to Todra Gorges. The water of the mountains is used here for irrigation in the palm- filled  Dades Valley.

This is where we end the third day of the tour. We will enjoy lunch and dinner in a local restaurant in the Dades Valley and also spent the night in one of the comfortable hotels.

Day 4 : Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate

The fourth day we continue our route to Ouarzazate , leaving the Dades Valley and carrying on to El Kelaa M’Gouna, the land of the roses. We visit the local handicraft factory for making the rosewater and all kinds of perfumes made of roses. A specialist will explain the process of making rosewater and rose-oil out of the leaves of roses.

In the afternoon we arrive in Ouarzazate where we visit the Taourirt Kasba hand the Atlas Film Studio. ( Atlas cooperation studios/ CLA studios) The studios were important in the making of many famous movies such as Gladiator, Cleopatra , Kingdom of heaven and Game of Thrones. It is possible to make a tour inside the studios with a special guide.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The last day we drive from Ouarzazate to Marrakech. Finally that day we make the tranfer to your accomodation or to Marrakech airport.

Along the way, we can stop at the panoramic view of Ait Ben Haddou.

Aït-Ben-Haddou (آيت بن حدو) is a medieval, fortified city in the Moroccan region of Souss-Massa-Daraâ along a river. The city is known for the beautiful Kasbahs, which are built against a hill. These are made of clay and are called the Ksar together. The kasbas are reinforced by walls with corner towers with narrow alleys in between, and thus a typical example of South Moroccan architecture. The city was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 and annually attracts some 25,000 tourists.

The new city has about 750 inhabitants, most of whom now live in modern houses in a neighborhood on the other side of the river. However, a few families still live in the ksar. Completely on top is the grain storage, again within a wall. This was the best-defended part of the ksar.

The road towards Marrakech takes us through a high mountain range, the high Atlas. High Atlas, also called the Grand Atlas Mountains (Arabic: الاطلس الكبير‎; is a mountain range in central Morocco.

The High Atlas rises in the west at the Atlantic Ocean and stretches in an eastern direction to the Moroccan-Algerian border.

The range includes Jbel Toubkal, which at 4,167 m is the highest in the range and lies in Toubkal National Park. The range serves as a weather system barrier in Morocco running east-west and separating the Sahara from the Mediterranean and continental zones to the north and west. In the higher elevations of the massif, snow falls regularly, allowing winter sports. Snow lasts well into late spring in the High Atlas, mostly on the northern faces of the range. On the Western High Atlas, there is Oukaïmeden, one of three main ski stations in Morocco.

At the end of the afternoon,n we arrive in Marrakech, the Red City.

Merzouga is the golden gate of the Moroccan Sahara, the fascinating village lies on the edge of Erg Chebbi, Morocco's highest and most beautiful dunes.
